There's usually a moment, somewhere around the third hour, when you start thinking about your shoes. You shift your weight. You look for somewhere to sit. The evening carries on and part of your attention stays with your feet.

Maeve doesn't have that moment.

The heel is a stable block, around 5cm — enough lift to change how an outfit sits, wide enough that you're not balancing on it. The sole is cushioned rather than hard, which is what actually decides whether hour four feels different from hour one. And the fit works across narrow and wider feet, so you're not choosing between comfort and the size you actually are.
